Who We Are

Susie Corcoran, CNM, FNP-C, MN, RN

Clinic Director / Owner

Throughout the journey of her 30 plus years as a midwife, Susie has been growing and expanding her education as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed the Nurse-Midwifery program at OHSU, followed by a post-masters certificate in Family Practice a few years later. In 2007 she opened Aurora Family Health and Maternity Care Services, LLC, which went on to become a patient centered primary care home, and in 2013 she opened the Aurora Birth Center, a nationally accredited free standing licensed birth center. Always relating to health from a holistic perspective, functional medicine was a natural next step.

Although still offering holistic prenatal and postpartum care, Susie enjoys guiding the midwifery spirit into ‘midwifing’ her non-pregnant patients, as she provides information, support and resources for patients seeking the resolution of acute and chronic illness. Susie is passionate about personalized care, and has continued to expand her knowledge and repertoire of services. She has incorporated IV nutrient therapy, peptides and other modalities into her practice, and is excited to introduce other alternative therapies in the near future.

“2023 brought the end of an era, and time came to say farewell to the Aurora Birth Center as we shut its doors. Everyone, (all of us), who provided care through ABC will never forget the magical time we had, and the love we shared with our clients and families. Remembering all those little people who arrived earthside during the stillness of the night in the beautiful old George Miller house, under the sparkling lights, while the community around us was fast asleep in their beds, is truly the most precious gift anyone could receive.”

Susie is grateful to be living and caring for her patients in a beautiful environment in Aurora Oregon. Outside of work, she loves to tend to her garden vegetables and flowers, work at the piano and play with her bull-dogs.

Elisa Hadley MHA, CAPM

Office Manager

The key to successful healthcare starts with a functional healthcare system. My goal as a healthcare administrator is to create better access to care for patients and a sustainable environment for providers.

My professional background includes a brief period of clinical experience as an Emergency Medical Technician just prior to transitioning to healthcare administration. With experience on both the clinical and administrative sides, I put my experience to work to create a more harmonious relationship between administration and care delivery. My intention is to support and advocate for the patients and providers throughout their healthcare journey. Healthcare should be where patients focus on their health and providers focus on their patients. My responsibility is to ensure this is possible and achieved.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my husband and two sons. I enjoy being outside in the garden, reading, cooking, and traveling.

Elisa holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Cincinnati, Bachelor of Science in General Science from Oregon State University, and Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) from Project Management Institute.
